Towards Surface-Correction of Deep-Tissue Blood Flow Dynamics with Massively Parallelized Diffuse Correlation Spectroscopy

April 08, 2024

Talk, SPIE Neurophotonics, Strasbourg, France

I was invited to present our latest results on massively parallelized diffuse correlation spectroscopy (DCS) at this year’s Neurophotonics conference, as sub-conference of SPIE Photonics Europe in the beautiful Strasbourg. Here is a link to this talk. The conference was co-organized with the SPIE computational optics, where my collegue Amey Chaware showed the latest results on 3D polarimetry with Fourier ptychography from our group. Check out his invited talk here!

Identification of immune cell types based on label-free multiphoton imaging and deep learning

January 29, 2024

Talk, SPIE BiOS, San Francisco, California, United States

I was happy to present the first results of my EU-funded MICS project at the Photonic Diagnosis, Monitoring, Prevention, and Treatment of Infections and Inflammatory Diseases 2024, as sub-conference of SPIE Photonics West in San Francisco. Here is a link to this talk. We also uploaded a short version of this talk open to everyone on Youtube.

Optical histology based on label-free multiphoton imaging allows quantification of distinct inflammatory patterns in murine colitis

September 18, 2021

Talk, Viszeralmedizin 2021, Online, Germany

The German societly for gastroenterology (“Deutsche Gesellschaft für Gastroenterologie, Verdauungs- und Stoffwechselkrankheiten - DGVS”) was founded in 1913 as scientific society for the investigation of digestive organs. At the Viszeralmedizin 2021, I presented our most recent research on label-free multiphoton microscopy for murine colitis models. The abstract was published in the proceedings of the conference here. More information on the conferece is here.

Label-free Multiphoton Imagaging in Inflammatory Bowel Disease

June 10, 2021

Poster, Vision 2030: Changing Paradigms in Inflammatory Bowel Diseases, Online, Germany

At this year’s international symposium “Vision 2030”, I presented how Label-free Multiphoton Imagaging can support fundamental research for inflammatory bowel diseases. I am grateful that my presentation was awarded with the poster award.

Poster, Retreat of the iRTG-TRR-241, Online, Germany

The integrated research training group (iRTG) of the TRR241 is an interdisciplinary junior researcher group that investigates different aspects of inflammatory bowel diseases. At this year’s “retreat”, I presented the latest update from our sub-project on Label-free Multiphoton Imagaging.

Together with Marilena Letizia, my poster was awarded with the poster award. The event took place virtually due to the Corona pandemic.

Poster, Workshop on Next-Generation Live-Cell Microscopy at the Arctic University of Norway, Tromsø, Norway

The Optics group at the Arctic University of Norway/University of Tromsø (UiT) organized a Workshop on Live-Cell Microscopy. Together with a group of researchers from the Erlangen Graduate School of Advanced Optical Technologies (SAOT), I visited this amazing workshop in the beautiful city of Tromsø to present our Multiphoton endomicroscope. My poster was awarded with the poster award.
